Usage

When to use:

  • Closing mask: reduces skin irritation after treatments (such as microdermabrasion and/or peeling)
  • Can also be used as a conductive mask for iontophoresis (–) thanks to the presence of vitamin C
  • Recommended for use in conjunction with phototherapy treatments


How to use:

  1. Mix 20–30 g algae powder with 80–100 ml mineral water using a spatula until smooth.
  2. Apply the mask immediately and evenly to the face and front of the neck using the spatula.
  3. Leave the mask on for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Carefully remove the mask, starting at the base of the neck and pulling it upwards.

Helpful tips:

  • Protect the hairline at the forehead and temples before application.
  • Use disposable paper towels, as wet alginate cannot be washed out of regular cotton towels.
  • It is not recommended to apply the mask to the lash line if the practitioner is not experienced in doing so.
